Military criminal law

As soon as a member of the military is suspected of a criminal act, either within or outside of the line of his or her duty as a member of the military, the public prosecutor can bring the case before the military section of the court of Arnhem. Any appeal in such cases will also be submitted to military section of the court of Arnhem. The lawyers at Knoops’ Advocaten represent military personnel at all stages of the criminal procedure, including the cassation procedure before the Supreme Court of the Netherlands.
